William Edward (Jr.) Manigault

William Edward Manigault Jr.
September 19, 1963 – May 5, 2025

William Edward Manigault Jr., affectionately known as “Bill” or “Billy,” passed away on May 5, 2025, at the age of 61 due to a myocardial infarction. Born on September 19, 1963, in Youngstown, Ohio, he was the only son of the late William Edward Manigault Sr. and Betty Odessa Manigault.

Bill attended South High School and went on to build a fulfilling career, dedicating over 20 years of service to Youngstown State University’s dietary department and most recently working at Park Vista for the past two years. Known for his strong work ethic and keen sense of organization, Bill was also cherished for his love of cooking and his deep devotion to his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two sisters, Judy Charlene Arman of Columbus, Ohio, and Tiera Lynn Manigault of Ohio; his only grandson, Giovanni Bryant; four nieces, Shannon (Robert Sr.) Darnell of Columbus, Ohio, Brandy (Erick) Respert of Snellville, Georgia, Ashley (James Jr.) Jackson of Columbus, Ohio, and Brooke Hayes of Columbus, Ohio; one nephew, McCoy (Cody) Hayes III of Tampa, Florida; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Khristan D. Manigault, his mother Betty Odessa Manigault, and his father William Edward Manigault Sr.

He will be remembered for his generous heart, his sense of humor, and the joy he brought to all who knew him

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later time.
