Robert Steven Howard

June 27, 1965 - December 11, 2024 (age 59)

Robert Steven Howard, known to family and friends as Bob Howard, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2023, at Hospice House in Youngstown from a long-term illness.  Bob was a resident of the Valley for most of his life, living most recently in Struthers for the past few years, sharing his life with his long-time girlfriend, Bonnie Harris, and their three dogs.  He leaves behind three adult children, Sean Howard of Struthers, Anthony Howard of Girard, and Amber Howard of Boardman, and three grandchildren, McKayla, McKenzie, and Corbyn.

He was the eighth and last-born son of Chester Howard and Yvonne Curry Howard.  He leaves two brothers, Russell of Winter Haven, FL,  and Terry of Murphreesboro,TN, and three sisters, Gail Gentile and Patricia Magazzine, both of Struthers, and Sandra Hetrick of Spring, TX.  Bob was preceded in death by five older brothers, Raymond, Donald, Christopher, Leslie and Timothy.

The family is planning to hold a memorial service for both Bob and his brother Ray at Lake Park Cemetery's Pond Chapel sometime in early spring of 2025.  Interment for both will be in Niche 2 of the Pond side of the Chapel.
