CLEVELAND - Karen Ann Lumpkin (Smith), 68, transitioned on June 9, 2025. Born September 21, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Raymond and Rose Lumpkin. She was a beloved daughter, sister and aunt. Karen graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and attended Kent State University majoring in Fashion Merchandising. She was dedicated to a career in finance and banking for over 30 years. She truly enjoyed helping people in this area of their lives.
Karen was proceeded in death by her mother, Rose; father, Raymond; and sister, Cheryl Brown. She is survived by her niece, DaVonne (Mitchell) Christopher and family as well as other distant relatives. Karen will be remembered for her genuine kindness, warmth, laughter and love for her family and those she connected with. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Karen is interred at Highland Park Cemetery beside her mother and sister.
