Donald L. Fisher (known affectionately as Don to his friends and family) passed away September 13, 2025, at the age of 86, in his hometown of Youngstown, Ohio. He was born to the late John and Virginia (Jacobs) Fisher.
He graduated from Austintown Fitch High School and went on to have a successful career as a machinist, retiring from Wean United Engineering after many years of dedicated service.
Outside of work, Don was an avid hunter, camper, and motorcycle enthusiast. He shared these passions with his family, creating countless cherished memories on their yearly vacations to Florida and on numerous outdoor adventures.
Don was a loving husband, a supportive father, and grandfather. His presence brought warmth and comfort to their lives, and his legacy will live on through the lessons he taught and the love he gave. He had a natural ability to fix anything that was broken and was always available to offer his help. He will be deeply missed, yet his memory will be cherished in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
Don's family was the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandee (Booth) Fisher; son, Donald (Mary) Fisher; daughter, Cyndee (Butch McCracken) Fisher; grandchildren, Allie (Nolan) Peduto, Niki (John) York, and Kevin (Jessica) Fisher; two step-grandchildren, Bryan and Joel McCracken, and six great-grandchildren.
