Barry Waldren Death notice

Mr. Barry Lee Waldren, known affectionately as Barry to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025, in Warren, OH, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 30, 1957, in Circleville, OH, Barry's life was marked by his creativity, intelligence, and wisdom, which he shared generously with all who knew him.

Barry was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, where he began to shape a life that would be as varied as it was vibrant. His career path was eclectic, with roles at department stores, convenience stores, and even within the music industry at Capital Records. His time with the Salvation Army spoke to his compassionate nature and willingness to help others.

Throughout his life, Barry's interests painted a picture of a man who found joy in the simple pleasures. He was a music enthusiast, a passion that was only rivaled by the love he had for his beloved cats, Stevie and Duncan. Barry could often be found sipping coffee, lost in thought, or engaging in one of his favorite pastimes, people watching. His friends will fondly remember the countless hours spent together, enjoying his company and the lively conversations that would ensue. Barry also found solace and entertainment in computer games, where he would immerse himself in different worlds and challenges.

Barry was a man of many words, but those who knew him best would describe him as creative, intelligent, and wise. He had a unique perspective on life and an uncanny ability to find the silver lining in any situation. His wisdom will be deeply missed, but the memories of his insightful observations and heartfelt advice will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.

He leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory, including his sister Roni Shank; his stepmother Flo Clagg; and his close relatives Bryan (Annette) Clagg, and Rhonda (Chuckie), along with several nieces and nephews. Barry was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Clagg, and his mother, Barbara Poe.

Barry's life was a testament to the idea that the beauty of existence is found in the diversity of experiences and the connections we make with those around us. His legacy is one of kindness, creativity, and an unyielding zest for life, even in the face of adversity.

As we say goodbye to Barry, we reflect on a life well-lived, a journey marked by the pursuit of happiness, the embrace of friendship, and the creation of a story that is uniquely his. Barry's absence will be felt deeply, but the impact of his life will continue to inspire and guide us.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Mr. Barry Lee Waldren will be missed, but the melody of his life will resonate forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
